Drury Plaque Unveiling
06/09/2016
The School honoured the late Professor Sir Michael Drury on Tuesday, 6th September with a special ceremony in Lupton House.

A Luptonian, Michael Drury was at Bromsgrove between 1939-1943, spending his School years in Llanwrtyd Wells. He was our School Medical Officer for many years, as well as the Cottage Hospital Doctor.

Michael was a very supportive Governor and Chairman of the Education Committee for much of the 1990s. Latterly, he was a Vice-President.

In his later life he enjoyed his visits to the School, especially Commemoration.

We were pleased to welcome members of the Drury family, including Professor Sir Michael's children to the unveiling.
