1960-1969 Leavers' Reunion

Almost 100 Old Bromsgrovians, who had left the School between 1960 and 1969, returned to Bromsgrove on Saturday, 10th September for a Reunion.

The day began with a welcoming service in the Memorial Chapel with a special Anthem by the Chapel Choir, memories recounted by the current Heads of School and a reading from Catherine Maund. Pupil guides then escorted the OBs on a tour of the School and Old Chapel. ...

2005 Leavers' Reunion

The first 10-year Reunion was held at Bromsgrove School in September 2015, for Old Bromsgrovians who left the School in 2005. We were pleased to welcome almost 40 leavers for a tour of the School and lunch with the Headmaster and members of staff. Many were stunned and delighted by the developments that had taken place since leaving, and tales were regailed of their time at Bromsgrove over lunch. ...

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Lee-Smith, former Headmaster of Bromsgrove Preparatory School (2001-2008). During Peter’s time, the Prep School underwent significant improvement and growth – pupil numbers increased and the long-awaited Maple building for Years 3-5 was opened. From a leisurely walk (usually finishing at a welcoming pub!) to a more rigorous trip up the mountains – there really is something for everyone’s taste. Bromsgrovians in Property event

Old Bromsgrovians Jess Williams (nee Kingston), Richard Brookes and James Brookes hosted a Bromsgrovians in Property event for current pupils and parents in the Hospitality Suite at Bromsgrove School last Friday, 6th March. The Alumni Committee intends to organise an OB get-together either in a room at Twickenham stadium itself, or at the adjoining Marriott Hotel on Wednesday, 16th March. Old Bromsgrovian Expedition Club

If you enjoy outdoor sports such as camping, climbing, walking, sailing, canoeing, mountain biking and locations such as Kilimanjaro, Ben Nevis or the Lakes appeal, then the Old Bromsgrovian Expedition Club (OBEC) could well be for you.

Old Bromsgrovian Golf

Spanning the full age range of Bromsgrovians from 18 – 80, the Golf Society enjoys visiting several Midlands based golf clubs during the summer months, as well as competing in the Grafton Morrish trophy – the most prestigious of school alumni golf competitions. Players of all standards are welcome and every effort is made to make the golf affordable for younger Bromsgrovians.

Old Bromsgrovian Music Group

Music is as much an integral part of life for some Old Bromsgrovians when they leave, as it is when they are at School, and with this in mind the OB Music Group has been launched! This group has been recently formed to reunite former Chapel Choir members to sing occasionally with other past pupils. A choir of recent Old Bromsgrovians is already underway.

The well-established netball club goes from strength to strength since it was started over 10 years ago. It provides a fantastic opportunity for Bromsgrovians to carry on their love of the sport and at the same time compete regularly in the local leagues & cup competitions.

Pre-1960s Reunion

Over 85 Old Bromsgrovians returned to the School on Saturday, 12th September 2015 for a special gathering.

All of the attendees had left the School prior to 1960, and for some it had been 50 years since they had been back to Bromsgrove.
